The idea for PAPA's Rice was born around the kitchen table! Co-founder Christopher's son, Sebastien, often longed for his grandpa's delicious rice dishes. This sparked a family conversation and a mission to bring that comforting taste of home to everyone.

Christopher and his brother Alex, a talented chef, combined their skills to create ready-to-eat rice meals using beloved family recipes.

When Christopher moved from New York to Los Angeles, he missed the easy access to the Afro-Caribbean flavors he grew up with in Brooklyn. His Haitian parents would lovingly cook, freeze, and ship meals across the country – a true labor of love! Co-founders- Brothers Alex and Chris both hold a passion for Afro-Caribbean cuisine and a background in business. The brothers co-founded PAPA's Rice to revolutionize the ready-to-eat market. Their vision is to bring convenience and authentic flavors together, one rice meal at a time.

Alex, a skilled chef trained at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, brings a decade of experience as an Executive Chef, showcasing profound expertise across diverse world cuisines and a proven record of successfully launching menu items at other startups.

Chris, with a background as a financial services director and a business consultant, provides operational knowledge and strategic guidance. His business prowess complements Alex's culinary artistry, ensuring a balanced approach.
